Being at home all by yourself doesn’t necessarily mean that
you have to always settle for a sandwich or omelet. Here is a simple dish that
you can make in fifteen minutes that feels like a real treat. In this recipe I
use lamb meat, but you can also use beef or chicken. Because lamb meat is very
fatty there is no need to use oil. If you choose beef or chicken, use 1 tbsp of
oil when you sauté the meat.
Yields: 1 serving
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
½lb/230gr lamb shoulder
3.5oz/100gr fresh spinach
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp liquid aminos or soy sauce
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Separate flesh from bone and cut it into small cubes.
Place meat in a hot pan; add salt and pepper, and sauté for
2 minutes on high heat.
Add garlic and stir for 1 minute.
Add liquid aminos or soy sauce and stir for another 1
minute.
Add spinach and stir until all leaves are wilted.
Serve by itself or on a layer of cuscus or rice with a
drizzle of tahini sauce.
