The Case | Acute kidney injury after endovascular aortic graft placement

A 64-year-old woman presented with posterior-radiating abdominal pain developing over 4 days. Medical history was notable for hypertension, dyslipidemia, and smoking. Medication list included amlodipine, atorvastatin, and losartan. Physical examination revealed a blood pressure of 201/83 mm Hg, oxygen saturation of 98% on room air, and mild tenderness over a palpable midline infraumbilical mass from which a bruit could be heard. Computed tomography revealed a 4.7-cm unruptured infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm with calcific atherosclerosis (Supplementary Figure S1).
